- All markets will be settled on result as posted by official tour site on the day after the event.
Any subsequent disqualification or amendment of result will be ignored for settlement purposes. - Should 36 holes not be completed then all bets on that event will be void except markets that have already been decided i.e. 'first round 3-balls'.
- Should there be no further play after a bet is struck that wager will be void.
- In the event of a postponed event all bets stand except if tournament is not played within 7 days then bets will be void.
- In the event of a tie for 2 and 3 balls, Dead Heat rules applies
DEAD HEAT RULES (GOLF):
A dead heat in betting is when two or more participants tie for a position in an event. This will only affect bets placed on golfers who ‘place’, as the winner will be decided by a playoff if necessary.
The calculation is as follows:
Your original stake is divided by the number of competitors involved in the dead heat and multiplied by the number of places available
Depending on what you placed your bet and our places offering at the time, will depend on how your bet is affected.
|T7||Matthew Fitzpatrick (DEADHEAT)|
|T7||Soren Kjeldsen (DEAD HEAT)|
|T7||Hidki Matsuyama (DEADHEAT)|
Because there are three players tied for 7th place – meaning nine players in total could be considered as having finished in the top 6 – dead heat rules were applied.
If your player came 7th, then the win part of your each-way bet is a loser.
The remaining place part of your bet is calculated at a fraction of the original odds (generally 1/5 of the odds pre-tournament).
So, if you bet $10 on H Matsuyama (+3300 pre-tournament) your bet would be settled as follows:
- $10 divided by 3 (number of DH competitors) = $3.33
- $3.33 multiplied by 1 (number of places available) = $3.33
- Odds of +3300 divided by 5 = +660
- TOTAL WINNINGS: $3.33 x (+660) = $25.31
